another new find.
Found by friend Nick on the liner of a ski vest at the Village Thrift on Milwaukee Ave.
Purchased at Shangri-La in Roscoe Village ten or more years ago. From a bunch of early 80’s dead stock t-shirts they picked up. I should’ve bought three of them. I’ve worn this shirt so many times it’s see through, but I refuse to throw it away.
In the doorway of the Village Thrift on Kedzie in Albany Park.
I forgot to ask.
Brown corduroy trucker (?) jacket by JCrew. Nothing special but I like it.
LP’s from the Salvation army on Devon Ave, followed by all you can eat Indian buffet at Tiffin. On a side note, Devon Ave. in Chicago (in the summer esp.) is a most magical street.
Wall mountable ceramic horse’s heads just because.
Combat boots purchased some months ago from what appears to be a now defunct vintage website called Ransack New York. They took forever to ship them but they were worth the wait.
Marshall Field’s shirt.
Marshall Field’s no longer exists, it’s now ‘Macy’s’. I love you New York but not everything you have or export is so awesome that we needed to lose a Chicago institution.
